Quality & Care Guide
Woven Rugs
VACUUM FREQUENTLY
Our rugs are made of acrylic yarn. Especially in the beginning, they can lose surplus fibres; this will gradually diminish. We recommend you vacuum the rug regularly, as it is the best cleaning method to remove loose dirt and dust. Vacuuming also removes dents caused by furniture and brings the fibres to stand back up. Clip loose fibres, don‘t pull them.
REMOVE STAINS IMMEDIATELY
For best results, remove stains immediately. The longer a stain sits on the rug, the harder it is to get out. We recommend gently scraping dry stains off and vacuuming the remainings. Take care not to damage the fibres. Remove wet stains by laying a kitchen roll on the stain. Then use lukewarm water on a cloth or sponge. Dampen the stain, soak up the water, and repeat the process until the stain is gone. Be careful not to wet the rug too much. Do never rub the stain, as this makes removing it more difficult and will result in damaged fibres.
RUG MAINTENANCE
Your rug is designed to last many years, but it will not do so without proper rug care. For the best cleaning, getting on a rug cleaning schedule with a professional cleaning company is wise. These experts have the right equipment and know-how to properly clean and protect your rug so it lasts as long as possible.
Wool Rugs
NATURAL PRODUCT
Wool is dirt-repellent because of its natural fat laonlin. Lanolin may have a slight inherent odor.
VACUUM FREQUENTLY
Our rugs are made of natural wool. Especially in the beginning, they fluff; this will gradually diminish. We recommend you vacuum the carpet regularly, as it is the best cleaning method to remove loose fluffs and dust. For vacuuming do not use any beater bar or rotating brush.
REMOVE STAINS IMMEDIATELY
For best results, remove stains immediately. The longer a stain sits on the rug, the harder it is to get out. Use a clean, undyed cloth, a little water and natural soap. Do not use any chemicals.
