The Sang Bleu Collection is a woven work of art, created in collaboration with the iconic tattoo and art collective Sang Bleu. The two rugs feature original oil paintings by Los Angeles-based artist Honor Titus, translating his distinctive figurative work into tactile form.
One depicts a woman holding a text by Jean Genet — a quiet moment of leisure, reflection, and calm. The other portrays the courtship of Titus’ grandparents, paying homage to his Haitian roots and celebrating romance, memory, and elegance.
Jacquard-woven with 3 million knots per square meter, the rugs bring Titus’ paintings to life in remarkable detail. Rich color palettes and poetic subjects create a sense of warmth and intimacy, while Sang Bleu’s distinct visual edge grounds the collection in contemporary culture.
